Tiphaine Lours

Tiphaine Lours is currently a master’s student at the Ecole de la Recherche de Sciences Po Paris. After completing the History-Social Sciences double degree at Sorbonne University (Faculty of Letters) and Sciences Po Paris, and spending a year abroad in the archaeology department of University College Cork in Ireland, she is now working on a dissertation at the crossroads of the history of medicine and the history of experimental sciences. Funded by INSERM’s Comité pour l’Histoire, it aims to explore the genesis of surgical practices relating to organ and tissue transplants in France during the 19th century. She is also currently pursuing an entrepreneurial project, with the creation of her own brand of knitting patterns sold online.
