Thomas Trapier was an engineer with a passion for images before becoming a photographer with a passion for science. After six years programming control centers for the French space agency CNES, he left satellites behind for more terrestrial and, above all, more oceanic adventures. In Polynesia, he produced reports for the Under The Pole expeditions and their Capsule underwater habitat project, as well as for the Groupe d’Etude des Mammifères Marins. Since then, he has continued to capture the images of those who take to the high seas, those who set out to discover the world and pass on their knowledge. He also contributes as editor and director to the YouTube channel “Le Journal de l’Espace”.
