Ariles Remaki

Ariles Remaki is a PhD student in the history and philosophy of science at the Sphère laboratory (University of Paris). Graduating with a master’s degree in advanced mathematics from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, in the field of probability, he began a thesis in 2017 on the epistemological status of combinatorics within the work of the German philosopher G.W. Leibniz. He is particularly interested in questions concerning methods of discovery and the explanatory role of induction in the field of combinations.
