An alumnus of École Centrale-Supélec, Gautier Depambour is currently a PhD student in the history of physics at the SPHere laboratory (Sociology, Philosophy, History of Science) at the University of Paris. During a gap year, he had the opportunity to work for five months at the European Council for Nuclear Research (CERN) in the ATLAS detector communications group; in parallel, he carried out a machine learning project applied to particle physics. He also spent six months with the cavity quantum electrodynamics group at the Laboratoire Kastler-Brossel, Collège de France, as part of his Master 2 in nanophysics. Finally, keen to bring science to as many people as possible, he is involved in a number of projects to popularize science: in particular, he created the website of the philosopher of science Etienne Klein, and wrote a book about his experience at CERN, entitled Une journée au CERN.
