Maël El Mazoughi
Pianist, electronic musician, composer, and performer Maël El Mazoughi encountered his first piano at the age of 4. He trained in classical piano with Sylvia Kohler at the Besançon Conservatory. He also studied computer-assisted music and graduated with degrees in both disciplines. Captivated by the colors of jazz, he continued his musical journey in Vienna alongside Philippe Khoury, and finally at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in jazz piano in 2025. He is notably behind musical projects that are already well established on the French and European scenes (Wet enough!!? / Osmosis). His eclectic and varied musical influences are nourished by his insatiable artistic curiosity and his multiple sound experiments. Deeply open to different forms of expression, Maël El Mazoughi is interested in all media to fuel his creativity. He does not hesitate to draw inspiration from diverse artistic works, establishing connections between different artistic languages. Time is intrinsic to human consciousness, and listening to his unconventional music offers an escape from the lucid world.
