Emmanuel Strosser, described as a “true poet of the piano,” has established himself as one of the most remarkable pianists of his generation. A guest at prestigious festivals such as La Roque d’Anthéron, L’Épau, L’Orangerie de Sceaux, and La Folle Journée, he performs both in recitals and as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Radio France Philharmonic, the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris, the Lille and Montpellier National Orchestras, and the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, among others. Chamber music plays an essential role in his career. He regularly collaborates with renowned soloists (Olivier Charlier, Régis Pasquier, Xavier Phillips, etc.) and major quartets (Prazak, Ysaye, Modigliani). His duo with Claire Désert has become a benchmark, and he is a member of the Owon Trio alongside Olivier Charlier and Sung-Won Yang. He has also participated in the complete sonatas of Beethoven and Schumann. His career has taken him to the greatest European concert halls (Wigmore Hall, Salle Gaveau, Cité de la Musique, etc.) as well as to America, Japan, and Korea. Trained in Strasbourg and then at the Paris Conservatory with Jean-Claude Pennetier and Christian Ivaldi, he perfected his skills with Leon Fleisher and Maria João Pires. Winner of the Florence competition and finalist in the Clara Haskil competition, he now teaches at the Paris Conservatory and the Paris Regional Conservatory. His numerous critically acclaimed recordings showcase Mozart, Fauré, Debussy, Schubert, Beethoven, and Chabrier.
