Benoît Vuillemin
As a business leader, Benoît Vuillemin brings his entrepreneurial experience to his public service roles. Born in Saône, he has been its mayor since 2020. At the head of this municipality of nearly 3,500 inhabitants, often referred to as the small capital of the plateau, he works to promote the harmonious development of the region while preserving a dynamic and attractive living environment. In addition to his municipal duties, he is Vice President of Grand Besançon Métropole, where he is responsible for the region’s attractiveness and influence, as well as policies related to tourism, higher education, and research. In this capacity, he helps to structure strategic actions to strengthen the influence and development of the metropolitan area.
