Reyhaneh Nazmabadi is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at Laval University, with over four years of experience researching various energy systems, primarily focusing on HVAC. For her bachelor’s degree, she undertook the national university entrance exam in 2012 and chose “Mechanical Engineering” at Arak University of Technology. Completing this program in 2016, She conducted a final project titled “The Effect of Welding Process on the Natural Frequency of Square Plates,” and graduated as the second-highest achieving student among undergraduate Mechanical Engineering students at Arak University of Technology. Additionally, she ranked within the top 1% among participants in the Iranian university entrance exam for the Master of Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently, sheI completed her master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, a prestigious institution in Iran, excelling in subjects such as Advanced Mathematics, Advanced Fluid Dynamics, Advanced Numerical Analysis, Advanced Energy Conversion, and Inverse Heat Transfer. During her master’s program, she had the privilege of serving as a teacher’s assistant in the Heat Transfer course. Following this, she secured a fully funded PhD position at Laval University, commencing her doctoral program under the supervision of Dr. Ali Hakaki-Fard.
