In this presentation, three approaches to energy will be discussed: conviction energy, innovation energy & process energy. The mining industry is rightly described as conservative, in that companies are generally unwilling to spend time and money, or take risks, on new technologies that would benefit them and the environment. Although the mining sector has the necessary capabilities, many are reluctant to be the first to innovate. So, as a company whose vision is to develop and commercialize environmentally friendly technologies and set new standards for the mining industry worldwide, at DUNDEE Sustainable Technologies (DTD), a lot of energy is first spent demonstrating our belief that we can make a difference. It goes without saying that our team is full of creative, innovative energy. This has resulted in the development of new processes – the CLEVR and GlassLock processes – which are adapted, innovative and proven to minimize environmental impact and increase operational simplicity, viability and reliability, all for energy-efficient processes. At DUNDEE, we’re full of energy!
