Philosopher and historian of science
Mathieu Corteel, philosopher and historian of science, is a research associate at Sciences Po and a visiting scholar at Harvard as an Arthur Sachs Fellow. A specialist in the history of statistics applied to health and the epistemology of medical technologies (AI and Big Data), he is currently involved in the CrisOrg project and directs the ProbaPol project at Sciences Po. He will soon pursue his project of an epistemological history of the digital method in medicine at the Harvard History of Science Department, which follows his first essay Le Hasard et le Pathologique published in September 2020 by Presses de SciencesPo. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal Multitudes, for which he recently coordinated issue 75 "Renaissance de la clinique" and issue 78 "Cultivons nos intelligences artificielles".
