Alainpers has for ever been obsessed with how to represent the passage of time…time as it illuminates our thoughts. At the age of 17, he visits an exhibition of art “lumino-cinetic” (combining light and movement) which fascinates him and leads him to his future passion. After a stint in both the aeronautical and industrial fields, he decides to follow his own creative urge and starts producing works of art as well as monumental paintings and sculptures. He always works with light, light as keeper of our days and dreams, where seconds drip and flow into minutes and hours. In all of Alainper’s work there is a fusion between the passage of time and light as they merge into one. To him, light is imbued with meaning and purpose. Rays of the day, rays of our life, that show us the way: daybreak, high noon, twilight, moments that give our life its rhythm. A point of light is like a dart that soars and collapses, dies, and is reborn … Life: a point of light that carries us towards an instant of eternity.
Aéro-Club de France
100 years of history
The Aéro-Club de France was founded as the Aéro-Club on 20 October 1898 as a society 'to encourage aerial locomotion' by Ernest Archdeacon, Léon Serpollet, Henri de la Valette, Jules Verne and his wife, André Michelin, Albert de Dion, Alberto Santos-Dumont, Henry Deutsch de la Meurthe, and Henry de La Vaulx. The Aéro-Club de France originally set many of the regulations that controlled aviation in France. From its formation it also set the rules that have marked some of the 'firsts' in aviation, such as the first closed-circuit flight of over 1 km and the first helicopter flight, and has organised competitions. The Aéro-Club de France was a founding member of the International Aeronautical Federation in 1905, a joint effort with other national associations. After 1945 some of the Aéro-Club's regulatory roles were taken by other bodies. It now focusses on the promotion of aviation and certification.
BH Technologies is a French SME from Grenoble created in 1998 and is specialized in the overall management of public lighting and waste collection. BH Technologies has developed among its various products a range of RADIOLITE astronomical clocks equipped with very precise algorithms for calculating the position of the Sun in order to control public lighting at the right time, every day of the year and in all latitudes. The reduction of ignition time and the associated energy savings can be up to 10% compared to a traditional photocell. But providing "at dusk" ignitions without impacting visual comfort requires that the clock does not drift and that all lighting power stations switch at the same time. From the outset, BH Technologies clocks have been radio-synchronized with the Allouis time signal transmitter, ALS162. Synchronism is a source of energy savings.”

Groupement des Installateurs d'Horlogerie...
The GIHEC, Group of Installers of Tower Clocks and Bells Equipments, brings together most campanists companies in France. The name of campanist was chosen to name this profession which officiates in the campaniles, the bell towers and takes its name from "campanae", the bell in Latin. The campanists are therefore mainly concerned with bell towers et and various buildings, which display the time on monumental dials, and sound the hour thanks to the bells. The campanists wish to promote this workmanship to all heritage stakeholders. They want to sensitize the local authorities, in their interest (safety, safeguarding, valorization), the maintenance of their bells and clocks. The campanists want to develop their craftsmanship, of millennial tradition by integrating new technologies, and also with the objective of quality training and the promotion of good practices. The 24 member companies represent 300 people for a turnover of about 25 million euros. A certain number of them export their know-how in Europe, but also all over the world (Africa, United States, Asia ...) Two figures give an overview of the field of activity: only in France, more than 150 000 bells are currently listed, including 4500 classified bells.
Hasard dans l’art
The ALEA project, directed by Anne Duprat (IUF/U. Picardie), brings together specialists in the history and theory of literature, historiography, aesthetic philosophy and epistemology around the analysis of representations of chance in art, from the beginning of modernity to the present day (16th-20th centuries). It receives funding from the French National Research Agency (PRC ALEA 2020-2023 / ANR-19-CE27-0006). By identifying and historicizing the main fictional and factual modes of figuration of chance, as seen in artistic representations of contingency, the researchers of the ALEA project are studying the central role that art plays in the human perception of chance, in pre-modern, modern and then post-modern practices of projection into the future, in order to better understand contemporary human attitudes to risk. The project's directing team (A. Duprat / A-G. Weber, U. Artois / F. McIntosh, U. Lille) coordinates the collective Figures of Chance. L'imaginaire de la contingence en Occident (XVIe-XXIes) [2 volumes, 1200 p.], which will be published in French and a digital publication in English in the fall of 2023.

Registered on February 19, 1921, the Judex brand was the leader in French watchmaking from 1930 to 1950. Its innovations will make the brand famous abroad during this period. Historically located in the industrial watch region of the Doubs, it is in Villers-le-Lac that the Judex manufacture was born, nestled in a picturesque setting between the Saut du Doubs and the Swiss border. The post-war and globalization will cause the Judex house to fall into oblivion. It was reborn 100 years later, in 2021, thanks to Benjamin Munier. An avid watchmaker, he is convinced that history, like time, continues and never ends. Born into a watchmaking family of 5 generations, Benjamin offers Judex new perspectives. He draws his strength and knowledge from his professional experiences, notably acquired in Switzerland and from his family traditions. Proud to offer models created, assembled and completed in his workshop located at Bizot, near Villers-le-Lac. It perpetuates French know-how. Craftsmanship, tradition and reliability are the values worn by Judex watches 2021. Today Benjamin offers a first collection for men and women in clean lines, quality materials, automatic mechanical movements chooses and machined by nearby Swiss manufactures that give robustness and precision to its timepieces. For history and time to continue moving forward together.

Semper & Adhuc
Founded in 2016 by Colin de Tonnac, master watchmaker, the Semper & Adhuc workshop creates new watches from restored old watch mechanisms. Each model is thus composed of a mechanical core inherited from the past, associated with a new casing made in France. This concept of watchmaking upcycling, which has been at the heart of the brand since its launch, enables it to enhance movements that have been orphaned and doomed to oblivion, thus preserving the French watchmaking heritage as much as possible. Semper & Adhuc offers watch lovers the opportunity to enrich their collections with elegant timepieces of French origin containing antique movements, precious alternatives to current standard ones. But the brand is also aimed at anyone who will be seduced by the elegant sobriety of the proposed models, and in search of a handcrafted and durable watch.
