In 1867, Emmanuel Lipmann founded a small watchmaking workshop in Besançon (France). A true pioneer, LIP has written the pages of watchmaking history through 150 years of innovation and exclusive creations, with sophisticated elegance and design, accessible to the greatest number. In 150 years, LIP’s watchmaking expertise has been built up in a unique way, making the watch for the greatest, contrary to common sense. Today, the LIP brand, convinced and aware of its strength, uses its history to build its present. Returning to Besançon in 2015, LIP is back in the news, exploiting and renewing its heritage through SMB SAS.
