Both a visual artist and an architect of time, Alainpers is driven by an idea: the representation of time. A time to be seen and thought about. It was a visit to a luminokinetic art exhibition at the age of 17 that would one day decide his future. A spell in the aeronautics industry, then in industrial design, led to his own creations in the form of objects, paintings and monumental sculptures. He has always worked with light, the guardian of our days and dreams, where seconds flow by in minutes and hours. All his work converges in his pieces, where light and time become one. A light to which he gives meaning and direction. Lines of daylight, lines of life pointing in a single direction. Dawn, zenith, twilight: so many moments, so many points that punctuate our lives. A point of light that rises and falls like an arrow, only to begin again, die and be reborn. Life… a point that carries us towards a moment of eternity.
