Biography

With an MBA from IFG and Georgetown, Sébastien Téot has over 20 years’ experience in industry, distribution and retail, in subsidiary and operational management positions. His extensive experience in the service sector, in management positions at Amazon EU and SCPTime, enables him to approach the challenges of time in the digital world from a global perspective.

Conference: Does time have a role to play in digitalization?

Digitization is a technological and IT evolution that breaks down barriers and accelerates exchanges: distance, information, collaboration, time… In digital applications, time is small but central: messaging, commerce, payment, data analysis… At a time of regulatory changes, electronic signatures, the factory of the future, connected objects, Big Data, the importance of cybersecurity… time is becoming fundamental. The digitization of exchanges and the quest for automation place time at the heart of security and the use of corporate data. The acceleration of exchanges also raises new issues of data traceability and dating. Hence the growing attention paid to the use of local legal time.
