Philippe Nicolas

Biography

Philippe Nicolas has been a school teacher in the Hauts-de-Seine department for sixteen years, and holds a doctorate in educational science with a focus on environmental education and training. Philippe is also an author published by Souffle d’Or, Transboréal and Dunod. A lecturer on innovative practices, his educational projects regularly win awards at La Main à la Pâte under the aegis of the Académie des Sciences de Paris. Philippe Nicolas thinks and lives school differently, praising sensitive reasoning in childhood and reconnecting his pupils with nature. He is one of those educators who encourage both the exploration of reality and a place in the history of the world. He recently took part in Julien Peron’s film L’école de la vie. A keen fly-fisherman, he also likes to enter into “the great temporality” that captures the universe and the prodigality of rivers.

Conference: Your vision board

A vision board is a visualization board made up of images, photos and affirmations of dreams, goals and, more generally, what makes you happy. I propose to accompany you during the workshop to create a vision board of your short- and long-term aspirations. You’ll have a practical tool to help you both conceptualize your goals and find a good form of motivation to work towards achieving your deepest aspirations!
