Anatole Khelif

Biography

Anatole Khelif is a teacher-researcher and lecturer specializing in mathematical logic. He is an alumnus of the École normale supérieure, rue d’Ulm. For several years now, he has been leading a seminar on categorical logic. For him, logic is a very schematic attempt to describe how our brains work.

Conference: Can time emerge from a world without time?

Is time an illusion? How can the temporal be induced by timeless elements? How can certain temporal paradoxes be resolved? Zeno (classical and quantum), the grandfather paradox, etc.? For this purpose, we’ll introduce the concept of “metatemps”.
